This is Anita, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my closest lifelong friend—Heather Brown.

Just recently, Heather suffered a traumatic stroke. She’s a young mother, full of life, love, and purpose. The kind of person who shows up for others without hesitation. In an instant, everything changed.

She’s now made it home from the hospital—thankfully—but her journey is far from over.

Recovery is still very much underway. Heather is facing ongoing physical therapy, occupational therapy, and follow-up treatments. She’s missed significant time from work, and the financial pressure is real. Bills are piling up. Daily responsibilities haven’t paused. And through it all, she’s still trying to hold things together for her children.

This is one of those moments where life flips upside down, and you realize how much community truly matters.

We’re asking for help—not just for Heather, but for her kids, her home, and her healing. Every single dollar will go directly to support her recovery and keep her household afloat.
