Hey everyone!

I'm scheduled to have a hysterectomy on December 6th. The recovery time for that is going to be two months.

I started a great job this August, but with a new job and new employee insurance my deductible is very high for the procedure and I don't have enough PTO accrued to be off work that long.

I'm asking for some help to be able to afford the surgery and still be able to pay my bills while I'm recovering. I know it's a big ask especially around the holidays but I don't have any other options.

To be perfectly clear, this is not an elective surgery for me. Having a hysterectomy absolutely needs to happen, so I can hopefully live a pain free life. This is a goal that until I found a doctor that would actually listen to me, felt like it was never going to happen.
