Help Heather afford Endoscopy and Hip Replacements
My name is Heather Logan. I have lived in or around the valley since 1992. I am originally from Oracle, Arizona. I have been fighting for Social Security Disability for close to 4 years. I have gastric paresis and sjogrens syndrome. I also have claw toes due to neuropathy and have to have both hips replaced. The bone in the femoral ball in my hips is dying and there is no reversal. I am in constant pain and having difficulty walking. In June I woke up and was having difficulty breathing. I had to call an ambulance. My oxygen was at 71 percent and I had a high fever. We all thought it was covid. Turns out it wasn't and I had pneumonia bad in both lungs. They admitted me to St John’s ICU and then thenI have no memory for 10 days. I went into respiratory failure, had to be intubated and put on a ventilator. Then they took me by helicopter to I.F. and i was in a coma for 7 days. They found a spot on my esophagus by x-ray while I was there. Now I need to be scoped and have biopsies done. I have no insurance since Wyoming will not vote in favor of Medicaid expansion. I live on very little income and help from local agencies. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Heather Logan
