Help Heather (17) cope with her Mother's death

Hello, my name is Thomas, and I have made this gofundme on behalf of my close friend, Heather. Heather recently lost her mother to brain cancer. Soon after, she also lost her beloved cat, Cassie (pictured) to cancer as well. This gofundme is to raise money to help her financially in this tough time. She already has so much to cope with, I don't want money to be another stressful factor.
            Heather is currently living with a friend, but this arrangement can't go on forever. Living with her other parent is not an option and eventually, she will have to move out on her own (or with a roommate). This is where the majority of the money you donate will be going. Rent in our city is extremely expensive and the minimum wage job she currently holds won't be able to support all of her needs. Any additional funds will go towards food, transportation, and essential items, which also won't be covered for her by a single job. She will need supplemental income in order to stay afloat and off the street.
            I don't see an end to her financial need. The circumstances she is in will leave her reeling for the next 6 months at least. Continual donations throughout this whole process would be extremely helpful. The donation goal is set to $10,000 to start out with, but surpassing this goal would help more than you could know. The money you donate to Heather will directly impact how she handles these coming months; this money, quite literally, could be the thing that keeps her out of homelessness.
