I am doing this on behalf of my husband, Heath. In November, he was diagnosed with a rare disease called Necrotizing Fasciitis (a flesh-eating bacteria) in his leg. He went septic due to this.He had to have emergency surgery to save his life. After the first surgery, he had to have 3 additional surgeries to save his leg.Also found infection in a bone in his foot so that bone had to be removed.He then had to come home with IV antibiotics. This has put a financial strain on us because he was only at his job for a month so no benifits.due to being laid off prior to that.

I am the only one working at this time. Its just not enough and fear we will lose our house .He has signed up for disability. He will not be able to ever work again due to the damage to his leg caused by the Necrotizing Fasciitis, and the fact it could return at any time.we have accumulated alot medical expenses and will continue to do so with specialist follow up visits.
