December 21, 2023 was a tough day for our friend Heath after a fire quickly destroyed his home. He was at work and thankfully, he wasn’t injured, but his camp, built with hard work and full of memories, was totally lost. This included all of his personal belongings, new appliances, and tools.

After the fire, friends quickly found Heath a temporary camper to stay in. But just a day after the fire, some people scoured the remnants of his property and stole his generator. Can you imagine?

Heath’s the kind of guy who’s always there for others. He’s a bit of a private person and might not love the idea of this fundraiser, but with the tough Christmas he had, and his birthday and the New Year around the corner, we had to do something. We want to show him that there’s good people in our community who care about him.
