On Mothers Day Sunday, an unexpected accident at Hearts Tattoo and Piercing Company unfolded. A driver on Highway 92 suffered a medical emergency, veered off the road into oncoming traffic, fortunately missing cars, and unfortunately crashed directly into the Massage Parlor next door before ending up inside our tattoo shop. The car came to rest in our business, destroying two of our booths, everything in them, and leaving a gaping hole in the wall between us and our neighboring business. Firefighters had to break our front door glass to get inside and rescue the driver. Thankfully nobody was hurt and the driver was transported in stable condition.
The damage, however, is extensive. Our team member Oryn lost priceless artwork and nearly all his tattoo furniture in the booth and so much more was destroyed in just a moment. The entire Hearts Team is now facing a huge financial burden. During the reconstruction process, none of us will be able to tattoo or pierce, which is how we support ourselves and our families. We are committed to reopening as soon as possible, but right now, we need help to get through this difficult time.
Any funds donated to this GoFundMe will go directly toward helping our team recover, compensating our artists for lost income, and covering cleanup and reconstruction costs. We are so grateful for the love and support of our community, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back once we’re able to reopen. Thank you so much for standing by us and helping us rebuild. We love you all!
