Help Heart Survivor Joel and Family

Our mate Joe, needs our support. He has been battling in his fight for life and now is the time to help. 

Joel fell ill with cardiomyopathy, disease of the heart muscle, in September 2015. His heart was functioning so poorly that he had to give up work.

In Sept 2017 Joel's health took a turn for the worse. Clots were found in his heart and he was told he didn't have much longer to live.

Leaving behind partner Diane and three beautiful children, Harvey 14, Lucas 7 and Tamara 5 wasn't an option. Joel fought to stay alive as he was listed for heart transplant.

In November 2017 Joel's life saving miracle came in the form of a donor heart.

Since Sept 2017 Joel has been living in Melbourne, thousands of kilometers away from his family and support network.

Being the main income earner of his family the financial stress Joel is under is now too much to bear.
