We are told our story matters. The most knowledge can be gained through navigating life’s challenges. Here I am in a quandary of health management. Something I thought I had a good grasp on. Yet I am but a student to what life teaches us. I am humbled by this moment where I must ask for help. Something that makes my skin crawl. I am assured by my life’s course that I will grow from facing that fear as well as the one before me.

I had 2 root canals in my past that went sadly awry. I have been living with a bone infection in my jaw for 10 years with no nerves left in my repaired teeth to inform me of the situation. Now comes the time where I need this issue addressed or face some pretty dire consequences. Insurance does not cover the necessary repairs needed to allow for a normal and healthy mouth. I have found some amazing clinics that offer the very best treatment available, however, the ones in the U.S. are extremely expensive and scheduled out pretty far. I will need treatment as soon as I have the available funds.

I have found an amazing clinic south of the border who offers world class care for half the price of what is available in the states. Better care and better price, even including travel costs. I will be requiring two visits. One for the removal of the infection and another for the repair.

I humbly ask for what ever feels right on your end to assist me in this process. I cannot begin to express my deep gratitude for your love and care as I take steps to ensure a long, healthy life for myself so I may give back to my family, friends, clients and community with renewed health.

I sincerely hope that what I am learning through this challenge I can share with others and help them to avoid this complication in our dental health as well as lack of decent health care in our country.
