Help Heal the Kaleel's

Dear friends and family, 

     I want to help my friends Mike and Betty Kaleel~who are like family to me. Betty has been a friend since childhood and her brave husband Mike has been battling Colon cancer for about 7 years.  He has had chemotherapy, radiation treatments, and endured many different types of medication, and during all this he went to work when he was able.  

     Recently it has been impossible for Mike to work, which has resulted in loss of income and health insurance. Betty has been there for him as a constant emotional support, and attentive caregiver, limiting her ability to work. They have 4 sons who are all outstanding young men, who do whatever they can to assist them.

     They are working on obtaining financial assistance for medical disability. However this can take months and are already experiencing the financial strain.  So I felt it was time to ask if they would accept a little help from their friends.
     It's very humbling to accept financial help from others. Maybe you have been that person who needed help during a challenging time in your life. Our family has been there and when family, friends, coworkers and even people we didn't know, offered financial and emotional support~we were overwhelmed with gratitude. You truly feel the love and compassion that people have to give.

     Thank you so much for taking the time to read  why I want to help Mike and Betty. We appreciate anything and everything that you can do to help them out.
