Help Heal: Support my Journey to Back Surgery in Germany

Hi, I’m Brittany, and at 34 years old, I’m facing one of the most challenging battles of my life. For the past few years, I’ve been living with constant, debilitating pain that has only progressed. From a recent MRI and X-ray imaging I have found out that it is due multiple disc bulges and nerve impingement in the lumbar area on my spine. The pain has become overwhelming, and recently, it’s even started affecting my left foot—numbing it and making me lose sensation in ways I never imagined possible.

After exhausting all non-surgical options, my doctors have advised that I undergo a multi-level disc replacement and spinal fusion in Germany. This surgery is my only chance for relief and to regain a sense of normalcy in my life.

For years, I’ve dreamt of becoming a chiropractor through Logan University, inspired by the healing power of chiropractic care that has helped me in the past. I’ve always wanted to help others heal, and I’ve worked tirelessly toward this dream. But right now, I need help to heal myself.

Beyond my career goals, I’ve also longed to have a family of my own one day—a dream I’m still holding onto despite the physical and emotional toll of this condition. But to make that dream a reality, I need to be able to live without constant pain.

This surgery is my chance to turn my life around, but the financial burden of undergoing this procedure abroad is heavy, and I can't do it alone. I’m asking for your support during this challenging time. Every contribution brings me one step closer to healing, and I can’t express enough how much your generosity would mean to me. The surgery cost alone is $80,500 dollars Canadian and that does not include my flight, accommodation or food.
