Today I celebrate my 35th birthday. I feel so blessed to have a healthy body, happy children and great family and friends I know support my life's passions. 

Today I ask for you to consider helping me help a family friend who is in dire need of not only financial aid, but emotional support as well. Our family friend, Rosa, has not been able to see her own family and children since the initial Covid lockdown in March. Due to her immigration status, she had to make the hard decision to stay in San Diego and not go back home to Tijuana so that she could keep her employment and help take care of not only her kids, but her elderly mother. 

This year has been emotionally taxing and financially straining on Rosa's livelihood. She is drowning in debt as her mother just had to be sent to a private hospital for emergency surgery in Tijuana due to the outbreak of Covid infections rising and hospitals being unable to support others needs. She is left with $10K+ in hospital bills and feels like she is never going to be able to get out of this debt. 

My heart breaks for her and her family, not only has she not been able to see them this year, but the financial crisis they are in is becoming unbearable for her to manage. 

I ask of you to help me show Rosa what community can do when we all come together, little by little to support those in need. Please consider any amount, all is appreciated and I hope to be able to make her struggle feel a bit easier.
