A Nun Does Her Best Impression of a Jason Statham Action Sequence
On Thursday, June 11, everyone’s favorite Floozy (Sister Flora Goodthyme) was biking home and out of nowhere, a car pulls into his path causing him to rapidly brake to avoid a collision. Flying over his handlebars, he awoke in an ambulance taking him to SF General Hospital where the Xrays showed a concussion and two radial neck fractures in both his elbows. Right now both of his arms are fully immobile, and his amazing fiancé and partner-in-floozing, Nick Buonfiglio has taken on the duties as his nurse caretaker until we bring him back to SF General on June 17th to meet with an orthopedic surgeon to discuss surgery options to put him back together.
Many things are still in flux, especially the anticipation of the medical bills. However, while we're figuring everything out: Sister Flora deserves all of the love and support in the world, especially during *gestures vaguely at everything else outside*. This GoFundMe is an effort to help Sister Flora and Nick navigate the following in the coming months:
- Medical Expenses
- Meals
- Cleaning Supplies (for when folks are relieving Nick)
- Flora and Nick's time off from work (Flora is currently furloughed, BUT has medical insurance)
- Rent

About Sister Flora
When she's not doing somersaults, Sister Floozy!, “Your Favorite Floozy!”, DJ FloozyFlo, Father Jacques Strapp, Omnipotent Goddess of the "High Life" to the Imperial Court of Swinging Monkeys and Roaring Tigers, or ... Mark, she shines her charitable soul into anything that she does for the San Francisco queer community. Whether you've reveled in his showcase of Bawdy Storytelling, or have sung a horrendous rendition of Abba at "Sing It Till It Hurts!", or have attended any queer event in San Francisco, Flora has undoubtedly made a significant impact to the San Francisco queer community and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence: https://www.thesisters.org/flora
