Help Mike’s ❤️ heal

Hi my name is Julie Betz and I am organizing a fund raiser for my friend Mike Raymond. Mike suffered a heart attack while running the Key West 1/2 Marathon. Thankfully, a nurse was running behind him and started CPR. The hospital in Key West then transported him to Mount Sinai hospital in Miami, Florida. He will be having open heart surgery on Monday, January 22nd. His wife Lorena is with him and was able to find a short-term rental apartment close to the hospital. It is unknown how long they will have to remain in Florida following the quadruple by pass surgery. The unexpected expenses, the medical bills and loss of income will definitely add even more stress to an already stressful time. My hope is to raise money to help alleviate some of that stress and maybe make them smile a little during this difficult time. We need Mike to focus solely on his health and recovery. Mike he has the biggest heart. He has a great sense of humor and always makes people smile. For those of you who run…you know how hard it is to be down and out. ( extra prayers for his wife!)
