Help Heal Leah’s Wrist
Donation protected
My daughter Leah was recently diagnosed with a rare wrist disease called “Keinböck’s Disease.” This disease causes the lunate bone in the hand to loose blood supply ,die, and fragment. Ultimately causing her major pain and limits her wrist function . The only way to fix the issue is surgery. Most doctors have little to no experience in taking care of Keinböck’s, so she is seeking help from a top hand surgeon in Baltimore,Maryland. He is 1 of 2 doctors in the world that has successfully performed a innovative microsurgery that would give her full mobility in her wrist again. Any other Dr could only offer 30-40% wrist function.
Because of the progression of the disease, surgery is needed as soon as possible. Since all of this came about so soon after Leah had her second child, her and her husband need help financially to make this surgery possible.
The funds raised will be for travel and lodging expenses. Any thing you feel led to give is greatly appreciated.
Love in Christ,
Joanne Maroulis
