Help Heal Gunner

This past Wednesday afternoon our 7-month-old puppy, Gunner, broke free from his usual outdoor play pen and was hit by a car in front of our dad’s house. He suffered multiple traumatic injuries including a dislocated hip, a fractured femur, sprained paw, and many lacerations on his the head and body.

The driver who hit him stopped briefly, but left him lying in the road shortly after. Sophia found him moments later, with the help of a kind passerby, rushed him to the hospital.

They warned us he might not make it through the night, as there was also some internal bleeding. By the grace of God, he survived and we were able to take him home two days later.

Unfortunately his hospital bills were extremely high, and we are still facing possible future surgeries. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated to get this sweet boy back to health.
