It's all fun and games until you try to water ski and completely destroy your knee after one try (I think that's how the saying goes right?).  My incredibly sweet, generous, caring, (although not super coordinated) sister, had an unfortunate attempt at water skiing and managed to tear up her knee really badly.  When I say bad, I mean BAD- multiple torn tendons, a small fracture and most concerning, a damaged vein that caused a blood clot, leading to her lower leg to be without blood flow for almost 6 hours. The doctors weren't sure they were even going to be able to save her leg but thankfully an emergency surgery to remove a blood clot, replace the vein, and large incisions to drain excess fluid was successful!  However, this was just one of multiple surgeries.  She will now need surgeries to close the incisions and then a complete knee reconstruction, followed by a long rehab journey. 
Unfortunately, during this time she will not be able to do the thing she is most passionate about- coach any of her clients.  As it goes with all accidents, it came at a time that wasn't exactly ideal as she just found a new, PERFECT location to relocate her business to and she now may not be able to claim this building as her own with all the added expenses of a long hospital stay. 
If there's one thing to know about Laura, it's her intense passion to help other's be the healthiest, best version of themselves and she has given her everything into making this happen year after year. 
For this reason, I humbly ask for any contribution to help this sweet soul and show her there's people out there fighting for her to recover to her healthiest, strongest self .
