Meet Barry, my beloved four-year-old Golden Retriever who lives for adventure! Barry encountered an unfortunate setback he tore his cranial cruciate ligament (CCL), leaving him in pain and unable to partake in the activities he loves.
Barry has always been an active and spirited member of our family. His boundless energy and love for the outdoors have brought immense joy to our lives. From hiking in the Cuyahoga Valley National Parks, to boating, to playing fetch at the park, Barry has been by our side, brightening each day with his presence.
However, the sudden injury to his CCL has left Barry unable to enjoy his favorite activities. The pain has dampened his spirits, and it breaks our hearts to see him sidelined. This injury occurred during his mother's six-month waiting period with a new insurance policy. Unfortunately this injury will not be covered, the out of pocket total cost is nearing $5,800.
The Road to Recovery:
Barry’s journey to recovery involves TPLO surgery on April 11th to repair his torn CCL. While the procedure offers hope for Barry to regain his mobility and return to his adventurous self, it comes with a financial burden. Barry is more than just a pet; he's a cherished member of our family. Your support means the world to us and will make a profound difference in Barry’s life. Together, we can ensure that Barry receives the care he deserves and can once again experience the joy of exploration.
How You Can Help:
We're reaching out to our community, friends, and fellow animal lovers to rally behind Barry in his time of need. Your generous contributions will go directly towards covering the expenses of Barry’s surgery and post-operative care. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to getting Barry back on his feet and back to the activities he loves.
Thank you for your compassion and support!!
