Hazel is my beloved Labrador who brings so much joy to my life and to our senior neighborhood. She loves to run and chase her giggle ball through the house, and her daily walks are a highlight for both of us. Hazel also enjoys greeting our neighbors, who have come to look forward to seeing her every day. Recently, Hazel tore her ACL and now she can't use her back leg. The surgeon is confident that with surgery she will regain full use of her leg. Unfortunately, the surgery costs between $9,500 and $11,500 plus the rehabilitation. It's heartbreaking to see her unable to do the things she loves, and our neighbors miss her cheerful presence as much as I do. The surgery she needs is expensive, and the cost is overwhelming for me on my own. I am, after all, a single dog mom. The money raised will go directly toward Hazel's surgery, her recovery, and any follow-up care she needs. I know that with this help, Hazel will be able to walk, run, and play again—and bring happiness back to our daily lives. I'm not good at asking for help, but I really need to get this surgery for Hazel. She means everything to me and I would truly appreciate any help you can give us.
