Title: Help Save Hazel – Emergency Surgery Needed for Life-Threatening Infection
Story:
Hi, my name is Vanessa, and I’m asking for your help to save my baby girl, Hazel.
Hazel is a sweet, loving 4-year-old Yorkie who is currently battling a life-threatening condition called Pyometra. Pyometra is a serious uterine infection that can develop in unspayed female dogs just a few weeks after their heat cycle. It’s caused by a bacterial infection—typically E. coli—that leads to the uterus filling with pus. If left untreated, it can cause kidney failure, sepsis, or even death.
The only way to save Hazel’s life is through emergency spay surgery, and we need to act fast. The vet has made it clear that time is critical.
Hazel is more than just a dog—she’s my best friend, my family, my everything. She brings so much joy, comfort, and unconditional love into my life, and I can’t imagine life without her.
Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery and necessary care is more than I can manage alone right now. That’s why I’m reaching out to you—friends, family, animal lovers, and kind strangers—for help.
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to getting Hazel the urgent care she needs. If you’re not in a position to give, sharing this fundraiser would mean the world to us too.
From the bottom of my heart—thank you for your kindness, support, and compassion. Hazel and I are so grateful.
With love,
Vanessa Hazel
