Help Hazel Help Carlos (her cat)!

If you are reading this, you know and love Hazel. She has probably been there for you on some of your darkest days, lending an ear—or a much needed pick-me-up, and has probably been the mastermind behind some of your best adventures. Her dedication to her friends and family (chosen and birth), her tenacity and work ethic, her accepting and welcoming energy, her humor, her commitment to a great costume, plant mama and rug tufting skills, and love and care for her cats are just a few of her amazing qualities. But we don’t need to remind you how amazing she is—to know Hazel is to appreciate her, and she knows a lot of people! Hazel brings people together, and now we are coming together for Hazel.

In the midst of some already big and unexpected life expenses, Hazel’s cat Carlos needed emergency vet care (because OF COURSE everything happens all at once). He is thankfully going to be ok, but the bill is over $6,000. Hazel is not one to ask for help, so we are asking for her. We want to raise $7000 to cover the vet bills and give a little extra for the other big expenses. We know many people are struggling financially themselves, and with the holidays being a more expensive time, it might be hard to give, but any small amount helps!
