Hello! If you are reading this my name is Hazel I am an 11-week-old puppy! I was surrendered to a new family, the boothe family. When they took me in they noticed my leg was hurt and talked to my previous owner and she said I was fine it was just from her keeping me in the cage all the time. But my new family wanted to double-check and took me to the vet we just all found out my leg had been broken since I was a young pup and my previous owner neglected me so it healed completely wrong. My family is going to do all they can to make sure I have a great life but I now can no longer keep my back left leg so I need a pretty scary surgery and get it amputated. My family did what they could to pay for my X-rays and medicine but this is where we need everyone who can help! my surgery is going to be a pretty expensive thing for a cute pup like me anything will help to make me all better. we have applied for helping hand for a lower-cost surgery but it is still going to be pretty hefty. My awesome vet has also recommended I stay in my cage and only walk for my potty breaks so the sooner this happens the better! Even just sharing my story will help me become a normal pup again a lot quicker so I can go back to playing with my big brother Keifer!
