Help Hazel afford essential car maintenance

The car I drive is going to need some important maintenance urgently and the cost is being offloaded onto me in its entirety. Long story short, I'm trying to gain more independence from my family and having a functional car under my name is essential to that. This is my commute vehicle and without it I'm completely tied to my family's transport and schedule. For multiple reasons this does not work, it's completely unsustainable and I want to avoid it.

The total repair quote I was given is over $1700 and it would be at least two months worth of paychecks to afford that. I'm currently trying to save up to move out, as well as start searching for another job, and using up 8 weeks worth of salary is a massive roadblock.

Some of the money donated (if there's enough) would also go to my savings account or towards essentials like groceries, if I've moved out in a couple months as planned. This is intended to help cover the car repairs as well as general relief.
