Help a Pillar of the Community to Rebuild his Business
Dear Friends,
We are writing to you on behalf of our friend and hairdresser Haywood Wilkerson. Many of you who know the West Hollywood area may know him by name, or by sight, as his hair is always big and bold, just like Haywood.
As the salon owner of TRUST Salon for over two decades, Haywood has been a hairdresser to so many of you in the community. And, besides always wanting to help make people look and feel their best, Haywood is always doing for others and never asking for anything in return.
Covid has hit so many people so hard, it has been devastating and it's truly hard times; but especially hard for certain industries that have been forced to close, and hair salons are at the top of the list.
Haywood would never ask for help, but it’s hard for us to see him struggle. The salon was forced to close, there has been no income, and we are starting this page in hopes to help Haywood pay his rent so he has a place to live while he navigates how to continue to work.
You cannot imagine what even $10.00 can do to change a life and we believe with the people who know and love Haywood, and the wonderful community that is West Hollywood that we can all come together - every dollar will help! He deserves a place to live, food to eat and hopefully a second chance at reopening his life-long business, the TRUST Salon.
