Help Me Represent My School at FCCLA Nationals!

Hi, my name is Haylie Gates, and I’m incredibly excited and honored to share that I’ve qualified to compete at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference from July 4th to July 10th! This is a huge milestone for me — not only because I’ll be competing at the national level, but also because I’m one of the first students from my school to reach this level.

I’m currently a senior, doubling in Culinary Arts and Business Technology, and I’ll be competing in the Event Management category. This event combines my creativity, organization skills, and leadership — all things I’ve worked hard to develop throughout high school.

I’ve been working a job since my freshman year, and I’m using my savings to help fund this trip. I’m also fundraising in other ways, but I’m still working to cover a few remaining expenses — specifically attire, meals, and spending money while I’m away.

Attending this conference would be an amazing way to end my senior year on a high note and a meaningful step toward new beginnings as I prepare for what’s next in my future.
