Help Hayley to Heal ❤️

On Thursday the 13th March 2025, Hayley was enjoying some rare recreational time along side one of her best friends, in the Glenrock State Recreational Area near Newcastle NSW.
Hayley, a devoted single mother of two boys and an avid dancer was exploring an area of cultural significance when her life took an unexpected and devastating turn. Mistaking an area of unsafe ground as suitable to pass, Hayley made a two story fall down the side of a waterfall to a deep and rocky creek bed.
After a harrowing 3 hours in the creek bed with life threatening injuries, flatlining and being resuscitated, Hayley was stabilised by rescuers and airlifted to John Hunter Hospital.
Soon after arrival, Hayley was rushed to an 11 hour surgery; surviving the surgery and remaining in a coma for 4 days, Hayley emerged with a long list of injuries, including a shattered and then reconstructed pelvis, breaks and fractures to 7 of her ribs, a punctured lung, broken shoulder requiring reconstruction, broken arm and elbow, broken wrist that required reconstruction, a C7 to T3 transverse process fracture of the outer vertebrae and a fractured C1 amongst other injuries.
As the sole carer to her two sons who are on the spectrum this traumatic event has put Hayley and her sons under immense stress.
We are raising money to ease the financial burden on Hayley so that she may focus on healing both her body and mind over the next 12-18 months.
Money from this campaign would be utilised to secure home tenancy for the next 12 months, provide care for Hayleys two sons over the next 12-18 months, assist Hayley with tasks of daily living like cooking, cleaning and errands and the purchase/hire of any vital equipment or therapies to aid in the quality and speed of Hayley’s recovery.
