Help Hayley & Ivan Rebuild After House Fire

Dear Family, Friends, and Compassionate Strangers,

I am reaching out on behalf of my daughter and son-in-law, Hayley & Ivan. Their home, which they have shared together with Ivan's parents, his siblings, and many pets, suffered a house fire this week.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, 10/31/24, around 3:00 a.m., kind strangers saw the house on fire, called for help, and pounded on the door to alert the family of the danger they were in. Within minutes, the entire family was thankfully safely outside as the fire department extinguished the fire. However, this event has left everyone and their fur babies split up as they find temporary living arrangements. Almost everything in the home has been lost to fire or water damage from the ceilings caving in on every floor.

All the floors from the basement up to the attic were destroyed, and the families have lost almost everything. The floors that did not suffer fire damage were instead destroyed by water damage when the ceilings caved in. My daughter described one of the closets on the first floor as a gushing waterfall.

Ivan's parents, Elva & Benito, kindly opened their home to my daughter 8 years ago when she moved in with Ivan. This is a family that has shown kindness and love to everyone. From hosting celebrations, including Hayley & Ivan's wedding, to providing a home when loved ones have been displaced. This is a devastating loss for all involved.

We are blessed that everyone and their fur babies made it out safely. I am asking for donations to help them rebuild their life and cover any loss of income from missing work. If you are not in a position to donate, please consider sharing this page.
