Please Help Haylee Silva Heal
On the morning of February 23rd, our world changed in an instant. Haylee Silva was involved in a horrific three-vehicle accident on Kaumualiʻi Highway. Within moments, our family was faced with every parent and loved one’s worst nightmare. She was listed in critical condition, and we didn’t know what the next hour would bring. By God’s grace and the incredible medical teams caring for her, Haylee is now stable. Those words alone are something we will never take for granted. But stability is only the beginning of what will be a long and painful road to recovery.
Haylee has already undergone multiple emergency surgeries. She suffered severe injuries to her liver, multiple breaks in her arm, a broken jaw, and multiple face fractures that will require another surgery. Her body has endured tremendous trauma, and the healing journey ahead will include more procedures, therapy, and months of recovery. Watching someone you love fight through this kind of pain is something you can never prepare for. Every day brings small victories — and new challenges. We are holding onto hope, strength, and the support of our community.
