My name is Gwendolyn O’Brien (Stephen Kemps sister) and my nephew is Hayes Kemp who is 15 months old. Hayes was climbing a ladder to a bunk bed chasing his 3 year old brother and fell. When he hit his head, it ruptured a blood vessel and the blood pooled between his brain and skull. Emergency surgery was performed. The surgeons removed part of his skull to drain the blood and cauterize the ruptured vessel. He was then put all back together. He is in recovery and the doctors are optimistic he is on the right track. Stephen and Kimi are both taking time off to be with their son.
