Our sweet, animal loving Hayes suffered a very traumatic event this weekend. He was trying to hug a friend’s dog when the dog reacted out of fear and bit him on the face. We received incredible medical care at Dell Children’s and underwent emergency surgery over the weekend with an amazing plastic surgeon and feel so incredibly grateful for our care and all of the love and support from everyone.

So many people have asked how they can help, and honestly as medical bills start rolling in, we would really love that weight to be lightened. Hayes is recovering well but we have a long road ahead, with possibility of additional surgeries in the future.
