Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Dawn Thayer-Mikolajczyk, and I'm reaching out with a hopeful spirit and a humble, heartfelt request to support my son, Haydn, as he takes one of the biggest steps of his life—starting college. In continuing his education, he is building the future he dreams of. As a parent, nothing means more to me than seeing my child grow, thrive, and succeed, but sometimes, even the most dedicated love and effort need a little help.

Haydn is an incredibly bright, compassionate, and determined young man. Ever since he was little, he's dreamed of going to college, not just for a degree but to make a real difference in the world. He's spent years working hard, maintaining strong grades, volunteering in the community, and pushing himself through every challenge with resilience and grit.

This Fall, Haydn was accepted into the University of Cincinnati, his first-choice school, a huge accomplishment that we are so proud of! He plans to major in Business with a minor in Sociology, with dreams of helping others and giving back in meaningful ways. As many of you know, college costs are incredibly high, and aid and program availability are currently changing under the new governmental administration. Despite scholarships, financial aid, and work-study programs, there is still a significant gap we need help closing to cover tuition, books, room and board, and other essentials. Currently, we are facing financial challenges that make it difficult to cover all our upcoming expenses. We are doing everything we can, but we've reached a point where we need a community behind us. Your support, whether it's a donation or simply sharing this page, can truly change the course of his life.
