My name is Kristina, and I am the mother of Hayden Daniels, my 3-year-old son. Since 2022, I have been fighting to keep Hayden safe after he was removed from my care and placed with his father, despite clear evidence of abuse and neglect. Hayden has suffered serious harm, including bruises, black eyes, and even being bitten in the face. I have taken him to healthcare providers and reported the abuse to authorities, but my concerns were ignored. The hospital in New Richmond, WI, and human services delayed action for months while Hayden continued to suffer.

The legal system has not been on our side. I was falsely accused, faced a biased judge, and lost custody of Hayden after being unable to afford a lawyer. The judge even ordered me to pay the father's legal fees, despite my low income. Hayden was supposed to start school and meet his teacher, but instead, he was taken away and placed in a dangerous situation. I have done everything I can to protect my son, including seeking restraining orders and working with healthcare providers, but the system has failed us at every turn.

Now, I am reaching out for help. The funds raised will go toward legal fees for a criminal defense attorney, therapy and medical care for Hayden, and other costs needed to bring him home and keep him safe.
