Help Hayden Deeds Overcome Accident Expenses

Donation protected
My brother Hayden Deeds was in a car accident in the early morning of Tuesday, May 28th. He was life flighted to Sacred Heart so they could repair his extensive injuries that he received from the accident. We are very lucky to have him still here with us. He is going to have to go through a rehabilitation process.

I am hoping to raise money to help him with the many expenses from this accident as well as normal living expenses. He won’t be able to work for a long time and will need help supporting not only himself, but his 2 year old girl Willow and 4 month old boy Hendrix. Any donation is very much appreciated!

If GoFundme isn’t your thing we have a donation account set up at P1FCU under Hayden Deeds.

5/28 update: Today was a rough day, but Hayden made it through a 7 hour surgery and will now start the recovery process. Which will be long and slow and he is going to need a lot of help and support. He was in a lot of pain when we left the hospital so please be mindful of that if you are deciding to go visit him. Any movements were causing him a lot of pain and discomfort so please be calm and cautious when interacting with him. They are only allowing two visitors at a time in the room with him so please be mindful. Thank you to everyone for the thoughts and prayers you continue to provide for Hayden as he is going to continue to need them through all of this. We love you Hewbert.

5/29 Update: Hayden Deeds is in good spirits and focusing on his recovery. Not in as much pain due to the nurses doing better pain management with medication. He is starting occupational and physical therapy today and he couldn’t quite stand up. They gave him a handle above his bed so he could pull himself up and adjust as needed. He could be here for another 2-4 days depending on how he progresses with physical therapy. The physical therapist will make the recommendation on if he gets to go home or go into a rehab center. I know everyone wants updates as much as possible but please refrain from blowing up the families phones. We will try to post updates as we can, but please be patient.

5/30 Update: Hayden Deeds is doing better today. He was able to stand and do a short walk around his bed and into a chair. It caused him some pain and he was tired, but not too bad. They made him a splint for his wrist today as well. The wrist surgeon was happy with the X-rays he took yesterday. The hip PA is recommending a rehab facility due to the extent of his injuries. We should find out more on that in the next few days. If you are wanting to visit please reach out to him first as he is still recovering and requiring lots or rest. Hayden said to tell everyone Thank you for the continued support.

5/31 Update from Hayden himself: I'm still my same goofy self. I had OT and PT today, and the PT lady Heather said I’ve been doing awesome. My arm is still hurting pretty good. My pelvis currently has ice on it for the swelling and pain. Good progress and hitting the ground running, not literally. I also would like to thank everyone who has been helping me even if it's just a text it helps. Anyway everyone have a great day.

6/2 Update: Sorry we didn’t post an update yesterday. Yesterday Hayden was able to go up and down stairs at the hospital. He continues to stay in good spirits, but is still healing every day. Today we got the phone call that he was being released from the hospital and he’s been doing so well he doesn’t have to go to a rehabilitation center. He will not be able to put any weight on his right leg for the next three months so when we are saying he is walking it’s more like hoping with a walker and an arm platform since his wrist was broken and now has a metal plate in it. Mom and I road tripped back up to Spokane to get him. He was nauseous the whole way home unfortunately and made a few stops so that he could get some fresh air. We have him situated at moms currently while we begin the at home recovery process. Please at this time no visitors unless it is cleared by mom. He is needing to keep focused on his recovery and rest is very important.
