HELP HAYDEE FIGHT BRAIN TUMOR

On the fall of 2016, our lives took a turn for the worst. What at first seemed like minor ear discomfort and a buzz in the ear turned out to be a significant brain tumor. As you can imagine we all asked why does this happen to good humble people.
Ever since Haydee was 16 years old, she worked helping our community. She's helped our youth in sports, the elderly and sick and the troubled teens or anyone who needed a helping hand. Haydee is highly valued by those who know her. She is a pillar in our community and to her family.
On February of 2017, the day came for her delicate high-risk brain surgery to take place.  Approximately 10% of the tumor had to remain in her brain due to the fact that the doctors feared that removing all of it would be too risky for her health. There were too many nerve endings that may have affected her in multiple ways causing more dangers conditions.
A few weeks later, the nightmare continued as she began to feel sick again and her health continued to deteriorate. Then, diagnosed with a head blood clot, weeks after surgery. Constant hospitalizations occurred due to complications from the tumor. This eventually lead up to radiation therapy to stunt the growth of the small fraction of the tumor that was left in her brain. This procedure began in the fall of 2017. However, during radiation period, the injury site opened which halted the therapy. Medication was then given to prevent infection and time was given so that she can rest and recover.
One year after her initial surgery, she continues to struggle with more complications. She began getting nose bleeds needing additional medical procedures.   Now she suffers from lack of sleep due to severe headaches,  constant muscle spasms on the left side of her face, and  loss of reaction time and a chemical imbalance which causes her to get dizzy spells and sometimes even faint. She is permanently disabled and can not work which changed her family's life completely and added an enormous pressure on her family economically and emotionally.  She continues her battle with these health conditions thanks to her strong fighting spirit as well as the support and love from her family and friends.  Some other consequences of her tumor were paralysis of the left side of her face, her eyes won't produce tears, loss of hearing on her left ear, and a horrible buzzing sound in her ear that is non-stop.
Although she has health insurance, many of the treatments and medications are not covered by her plan fully. The medical costs endured have put a huge financial burden on her family. For this reason, we ask for your help.  We ask for a donation which would be used for her recuperation and rising medical bills. This would be greatly appreciated in her efforts to maintain a healthy lifestyle and basic comfort. Please help us fight this horrible brain tumor along with the many challenges it has brought Haydee and her family.
Thank you very much!!

 Gracias.
