My name is Haya, and I am a girl from Gaza. I come from a family of seven. We are displaced people from Rafah, currently living in the Japanese camp there. Our journey has been one of immense pain and hardship.

Our home was severely damaged during the ongoing war, and we have been forced to migrate several times to different areas. Each move brought new challenges, but we had no choice but to keep searching for safety. The last time we were displaced, we ended up here in Rafah.

My father was born in 1975 and my mother in 1978. I have three younger siblings: my brother Basil, born in 2010; my sister Dima, born in 2012; and my youngest brother Zain, born in 2016. My older sister Aya is married and has her own family. I, Haya, was born in 2008.

Life in Gaza has been unbearably difficult. This war has lasted for eight months, and we have lost everything. We now live together in a single tent, sharing the same grief, uncertainty, and fear. My youngest brother Zain, who is only eight years old, has spent two of his formative years amidst this war, surrounded by destruction and loss.

My father, once the main provider for our family, can no longer support us due to the immense pressures and challenges brought by this war. My mother is doing everything she can to help us survive, but it is not enough. I am trying to assist her by finding ways to earn money, but the situation is dire.

This is a heartfelt plea for your help. My family desperately needs support to survive during this genocide in Gaza. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference. Your kindness could provide us with basic necessities like food, clean water, and shelter, giving us a chance to rebuild our lives and find some stability in this chaos.

كانت الحياة في غزة صعبة بشكل لا يطاق. استمرت هذه الحرب لمدة ثمانية أشهر، وخسرنا كل شيء. نحن نعيش الآن معًا في خيمة واحدة، نتقاسم نفس الحزن وعدم اليقين والخوف. لقد أمضى أخي الأصغر زين، الذي يبلغ من العمر ثماني سنوات فقط، عامين من سنوات تكوينه وسط هذه الحرب، محاطًا بالدمار والخسارة.
