We are a group of dedicated regenerative organic farmers in the Haleiwa Waialua community, organized by Aunty Pi'i and led by Kumu Alika. Our mission is to heal the soil, grow healthy food, and nourish our people—one acre at a time. We gather regularly to make organic inputs and learn Korean Natural Farming from a certified master instructor, always striving to improve our land and our harvests.
The recent Kona storm has been devastating for our entire group. Not one of us was spared—fields are covered in deep mud, debris, and logs, immediately halting food production. The cleanup is overwhelming, and most of the work so far has been done by sheer manpower, with shovels and determination. Heavy equipment companies are stretched thin, helping hundreds of homes still recovering from the storm, and we can’t afford to wait for outside help.
That’s why we’re asking for your support to raise funds for a shared skidsteer. With this equipment, we can clear our fields much faster, restore our farms, and get back to growing healthy, organic food for our community. Our kaiaulu is strong and connected, and our goal is to be ready to give again—feeding our neighbors and supporting the islands’ health. Your support will help us recover and continue our mission. Mahalo for standing with us.
