Help Hawah heal from deep vein thrombosis

Please help support my friend Hawah. Hawah is a certified home health aide who was an enormous help to our family after my husband suffered a stroke. Much of the work she does for our family and others suffering with health challenges requires her to be on her feet. Recently Hawah has suffered her own health setback which has made this physical labor impossible.

In 2003, she was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis in her left leg. The condition was successfully treated with surgery and rehabilitation and she was able to return work. Unfortunately, the condition has recently reappeared, affecting both of her legs. In order to regain her independence, she will need to undergo surgery again and then will require time for rest and rehabilitation. Without this treatment, the only remaining option is the amputation of both of her feet.
