As many of you know, our dear friend Brian Hatfield aka "Hatty" recently underwent liver transplant surgery. It's been a long, hard, painful road for him since his diagnosis of Hemochromatosis. We all knew that at some point he would need this very serious surgery. On Christmas Day 2024, Brian's wife noticed something was wrong, and she brought him to the ER. That's when we learned that Brian was in liver failure. As he lay in the hospital bed waiting for a liver, we all prayed and were riddled with fear. On January 3rd of this year, our prayers were answered, and Brian received a liver! The road to recovery has been a difficult one physically, emotionally, and financially. Ongoing treatment, physical therapy, and medication for the rest of his life will be needed. Brian's sister Tammy and I wanted to help in any way we could.
