Help Hassan continue his education and evacuate his family

Hello,
My name is Hassan Jouda, I'm an 18-year-old Palestinian young man from the Gaza Strip. I live in Rafah, southern Gaza ٍStrip. Rafah has become the semi-safe haven in Gaza, accommodating over a million people in just 64 km2 area. Currently, about six displaced families are residing in my home.

Before the war began, I successfully finished high school, science stream, with a 90% score and was just starting my study of computer engineering at the University College of Applied Sciences - Gaza. However, the outbreak of war changed everything. My home was subjected to severe damage. We have encountered shortages in water, electricity, and internet services. Furthermore, both my university and the apartment where I temporarily resided with my brother (thanks to the distance between my home in Rafah and the university) were bombed.

These painful experiences have had a significant impact on my life. I began to realize that the path to achieving my dreams in education and work has been greatly affected. However, I am confident that I can overcome these challenges and continue to move forward towards achieving my goals. I am confident in my ability to overcome these difficulties and work towards building a better future for myself and helping my family in the future.

I started learning programming at the age of eleven. I also participated in local training courses, scholarships, and competitions, winning many awards at the level of the Gaza Strip and my city Rafah. I volunteered at the Ministry of Education in Rafah to train students and children on programming during the summer and art camps. I was also a student in the Code for Palestine scholarship, supported by the Paltel Group Foundation and Code. X. That is where I learned programming and design-thinking.

Some of the certificates and awards I received and won

have developed many applications and websites to help my community and address various issues, including poverty, facilitating donation processes, and distance learning.

I have now been awarded a scholarship by the Poland government to study Bachelor's degree in software engineering. This scholarship covers my accommodation expenses and university fees. However, the costs associated with travel, including coordination, visa, airfare, and Personal expenses, are my responsibility.

In this difficult situation, raising this large sum of money seems almost impossible in the midst of war and the high prices of all products. I worked hard to obtain this scholarship, and I am confident that it will change my life for the better. This opportunity allows me to continue the specialization I have dreamed of since childhood, and for which I have worked tirelessly to prepare.

During the war, we suffer from difficulty in living and adapting due to the scarcity and high cost of food resources, as well as the severe shortage of water, forcing us to drink unsanitary and polluted well water. In addition, there is a high probability of the invasion of Rafah and the closure of crossings, which in turn will prevent me from traveling to complete my university studies, and the scholarship will be canceled if I am unable to travel in the coming period.

Your contribution, no matter how small, will have a significant impact on my journey to support the costs of crossing the border into Egypt, as well as providing basic living expenses to rebuild academic life. The money will be transferred through my relatives in Germany to Egypt, and that will help us pay the money to the Egyptian authorities for crossing the border. Your generosity will play a crucial role in continuing my education and securing my future, and the funds raised will be used transparently and efficiently to ensure that every dollar goes towards securing my evacuation from Gaza and beginning my academic journey.

Cost Breakdown (€21,000):
Evacuating Hassan And His Parents: €15000
Five Months Living Expenses in Egypt: €4000
Airline ticket and visa to Poland: €1000
GoFundMe and Bank Transfer Fees: €1000

Please share this campaign with your friends, family, and colleagues to help us reach our goal and reach safety. Your support means everything to me, and I am so grateful for any help you can provide during this difficult time.

I am deeply saddened and compelled to leave my family in these circumstances, hoping for their safety and the well-being of all the residents in Gaza until this war comes to an end soon. It is with a heavy heart that I make this decision, but I believe it is necessary for me to seek safety and pursue opportunities that will allow me to support my loved ones in the future.

As I embark on this journey, I carry with me the hopes and prayers of my family and community. Despite the distance that separates us, their well-being remains my utmost priority, and I hold onto the belief that we will be reunited once peace is restored in our homeland.

Your support during this challenging time means the world to me. It provides me with the strength and determination to navigate through these uncertain times and strive for a better future. Thank you for your compassion and solidarity as we stand together in hope for a brighter tomorrow.

With sincere gratitude.
