Hassan lives in rural Senegal, West Africa, he fell into a charcoal fire when he was 9 months old.
Now he is a ten year old. The disaster left hypertrophic scars on most of his face. He has lots of bullies in school and in his neighborhood. Kids call him "monster". He is very uncomfortable to go outside of the house and to to school. Sometimes he pretends to go to school then he sits somewhere until kids finish school and he will go home.
The parents are very poor, the father makes roughly $100/ month. The parents are renting one room, Hassan and his two brothers stay in one room with their grandmother in a different house. Hassan's two sisters stay with their cousin. The family would really appreciate any contribution to help Hassan to undergo surgery in the US. We are working with several surgeons and hospitals to get as much humanitarian assistance as possible. Your gesture will help impact his self esteem and his future tremendously. When you look into his eyes you can see his deep sadness and distress.
Thank you! Merci!
