Help Hasha fight Hodgkin Lymphoma
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Vera Kamponje . I am a single parent and a mother of two. Hasha MacAdams Banda is 10 years and in fifth grade, his sister Ashinah MacAdams Banda is 6 years old and is in second grade.
Four years ago their Dad was murdered by thieves. Two years later, in 2017 Hasha was diagnosed with chronic platelet disorder (ITP). His platelet count could drop drastically, which has made his immune system so weak. From that time, Hasha has been in and out of hospital, surviving on blood and platelet transfusion plus steroids.
Five months ago a growth popped up on his shoulder neck area . Three weeks ago he was taken for an operation to remove the growth . It was discovered that the growth was actually bigger than what it looked from outside. After the surgery, further tests revealed that Hasha has Hodgkin lymphoma cancer.
Hasha is a caring and loving boy, always looking after his young sister when he is feeling better. He also likes reading, sharing, researching and math. He loves music, a trait he takes after both his father and I and is often involved in community services which is also something both his Dad and I enjoyed doing together.
Hodgkin Lymphoma has slowed him down but, with the love of God, we are faithful that Hasha will pull through.
Please kindly help us to get Hasha the support he needs to help fight Hodgkin Lymphoma. We are looking to take him to India for specialist attention. Help us get Hasha the treatment he needs.
