Rebuilding hope to Nurse Hasan in Gaza
Donation protected

Dear friends, family, and kind supporters
My name is Hassan Al-Tahrawi, 32 years old. I studied for a bachelor’s degree in nursing and finished my master’s degree in critical care .
I volunteered at Gaza European Hospital as a nurse in the ICU department. I am currently dealing with 7th October war casualties in the intensive care unit, and I worked for years as a teacher of the Turkish language in many institutes in Türkiye before returning to Gaza.
I'm married to Fatma , and we have a child named Yamen (one year old) . My wife is a pharmacist , We strived together to provide a better future and life for our son, but suddenly our lives were turned upside down on 14th October. After I returned from my shift in the hospital our 4-stored house was bombed, it collapsed on top of us, and I lost all of my family - my mother, my brother, my sister, my brother’s wife, and her three children , my uncle, his wife and my cousin . We were pulled out from under the rubble, me, my wife, my son, and the only survivor from my family, who is my brother (Khamees).
I had 7 complex fractures in my pelvis, and Khamees suffered a liver injury grade 4 , tension hemo and pneumothorax, and left neck femur unstable fracture. We stayed injured in the European Gaza Hospital for more than 5 months , then I resumed my work despite the injury and worked in the emergency department .
I lost my family, my house, and our three cars. Everything we owned was destroyed. Frankly, my heart can't take it anymore.
My goal is to help rebuild my home or, if necessary, evacuate me and my family to a safer place where we can pursue our dreams and live in peace.

The funds raised will be used to cover the costs associated with rebuilding my home or evacuating us from Gaza, including travel expenses, legal fees, and initial living costs as we settle into a new, safer environment. Every donation, no matter the size, will bring us one step closer to giving our son Yamen the chance they deserve to live a life full of hope and opportunities.

Your support will make an immense difference in our lives, providing us with the freedom and resources we need to build a better future. Sharing this campaign with your network would be incredibly helpful even if you can not donate.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering a donation. Your kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.
