Help Harry pay for treatment
Donation protected
Hello. My name is Harry, and I've got a major problem.
I am, like many others, a sufferer of Major Depressive Disorder. Normally, my company covers me for wages if I have to be on leave, as I am now, for treatment. Despair, anhedona, irritability - these are my symptoms, along with a foreboding sense that it wouldn't matter if it just ended. These are not normal thoughts.
However, I also recently had all my upper teeth replaced, and on top of that, the wage replacement insurer has given my claim a denial for the first pass. This will eventually be fixed, I believe, but in the meantime, I will get no paycheck for the past 15 days. Without that paycheck, I cannot pay rent. This is not helping my depression, obviously.
So here's what I propose. For everyone who donates $100, I will knit a scarf in your choice of colors and send it to you within one year (probably sooner, but there you are). All you have to do is provide me a place to send it. This may end up costing me more in the long run if there are overseas shipping charges, but it solves the problem in the short term. And for anyone who donates $300 or more, I will also knit a tychus for you and send it where you indicate within one year. If you don't know what a tychus is, here's a link to the pattern for it. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tychus Again, in your choice of colors.
This is what I can offer in return for help. I detest having to ask. But I am out of options.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
