Help Harry Get Through Chemotherapy

As most of you know, Harry Olsson Jr. began battling brain cancer with surgery on June 23, 2021. (You can read his full story on his Caring Bridge page: https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/harryolssonjr ). Since then he has recovered well from successful surgery. He has also tolerated radiation therapy very well. He is now starting chemotherapy which will last until June of 2022.

His outlook has been routinely positive throughout this whole ordeal. He is grateful for all the love and support and practical help he has gotten; however, he has not been able to accept any long-term work since last June and will not be able to accept any until next June. Chemotherapy is known to make people feel very sick, tired, and nauseous, which will make this a very tough upcoming 9 months, and he does not know from day to day how the treatments will affect his ability to perform. This means that Harry will be a full year with very little income. ( He has been able to teach a few students and accept a few simple gigs.) Harry’s vital needs are met thanks to his insurance and family, but he has had to spend through savings for the past number of months for other necessities such as, food, clothing, meds, and any other daily expenses or activities, and he has no money for any personal needs.

Our goal is to see if we can help Harry by putting just a couple of hundred dollars a month into his pocket from now until June of 2022. This way he can enjoy some quality of life during this time, like getting a burger, or paying for medical aids not covered by insurance.

This is a very meaningful, practical way to help Harry during this difficult time. If you are a person who has said,
