Five years ago, after his owner passed away, a gentle and loving dog named Harry was left in the care of my dear friend Lynn. Without hesitation, she opened her heart and her home to him, promising to give him the love and stability he desperately needed. What she couldn’t have known was just how many medical challenges Harry would face-or how deeply she would come to adore him through it all.
Harry is facing vestibular disease, and now he’s facing his hardest fight yet: kidney cancer. Despite everything, this sweet boy continues to bring joy, comfort, and unconditional love to Lynn every single day.
Over the past several years, Lynn has done everything in her power to keep Harry healthy and comfortable. She has covered countless vet visits, tests, medications, and emergency treatments-often at great personal sacrifice. A few years ago, she even maxed out her savings paying for Harry’s care. More recently, Lynn suffered a devastating setback of her own when she was hit by a car while dog walking. The accident left her unable to work for months, requiring more than a year of rehab, and she is still recovering today.
Even with all she has endured, Lynn’s devotion to Harry has never wavered. But the financial strain has become overwhelming, and now she truly needs help.
Harry’s new diagnosis means additional testing, monitoring, and treatments are urgently needed to keep him comfortable and ensure he has the best quality of life possible. Lynn wants nothing more than to ease his pain and make whatever time he has left filled with love, safety, and comfort-but she simply cannot do it alone anymore.
