Harrison is the love of my life. He is an 11-year-old golden retriever who instantly lights up any room he walks into and puts a smile on your face every time you see him. He is so happy, so smart, and truly is the world's best boy. I have had him for my entire adult life, and he has been with me through heartbreak, several moves—including one cross-country—endless hikes, and trips to the beach. His unconditional love has never wavered. Harrison has taught me how to be more patient, how to soften, and how to be present even in the smallest moments. I truly don't know what my life would look like today without him.

Recently, Harrison was diagnosed with high-grade, b-cell lymphoma (cancer), which was the most devastating news I could have ever received. We have been to several vet appointments including one last Sunday night that included discussion about you know what. I made the decision to move forward with treatment and he had his first dose of medication right before Christmas. Thankfully, he is responding better than I could have hoped and his prognosis is good if we follow the treatment plan. I The size of his tumors have shrunken tremendously, his energy is back up and he seems more himself. His treatment is extensive and ongoing, and the amount I’m raising will only cover a portion of the total cost. I am asking for your help to support Harrison's treatment so that he is not in pain, his quality of life continues to improve, and to give us more time together.
