Dear Friends and Community Members,
Today at 5:30 AM, a devastating fire broke out at 6340 Galleon Dr, completely destroying the home of eight Harrisburg University students. Thankfully, these brave young individuals managed to escape the blaze, but they lost everything including their four cars in the process. They are now homeless, without any of their belongings, and facing significant hardships.
The fire, which is still under investigation, forced many of the students to jump from the deck to the ground to save their lives. One of the girls sustained fractures in her back, and several other students have injuries requiring medical attention.
These students urgently need our support. They have no home, no food, and no clothes and are dealing with the trauma and injuries from this harrowing experience. We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to help them cover medical bills, replace their lost belongings, and provide immediate support to help them get back on their feet.
Please consider donating whatever you can. Your generosity will significantly impact their lives during this incredibly challenging time. Together, we can help these students rebuild and recover from this tragedy.
HTA, TANA Team Square & other local Indian organizations are helping them.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
