On Sunday, October 27th, Harriet Plummer Swim School was completely destroyed in the fires along Highway 24 near Pleasant Hill Road.

Since 1979, Harriet Plummer, Kristian, Nate, and their caring instructors have been teaching thousands of local children how to swim and be water safe. Multiple generations have developed their swimming skills at Harriet Plummer. This fire and the loss of the school has been devastating to the swim community and their employees. They have lost their jobs and income that they relied upon to support themselves and their families quite suddenly and without warning.

Let’s rally to support this local Lafayette institution and its staff by donating to help with this sudden and shocking loss. All funds raised will go directly to Kristian, Nate, and all of their employees while they navigate through this uncertain time.
