Our sister Harper’s 11-year-old greyhound Shelly broke her humerus and had to have her front left leg amputated on Thursday, September 11th. Though we are unsure at the moment what caused the bone to break so easily, Shelly’s vet suspects cancer might be the culprit.

This event has been both traumatizing and expensive, and we are attempting to recoup some funds so Harper can promptly pay off the cost and focus on healing her baby.

We are crossing our fingers that Shelly makes a full recovery after this procedure, and we are hoping to alleviate some stress by helping with the cost of surgery. We would so appreciate any contribution, large or small, from our community during this sad and stressful time.
