On September 17th, we took Harper to the hospital after having an on and off high fever for two weeks. We learned shortly after that her blood cells and platelet counts were abnormal, which led to a diagnosis of B type ALL (Leukemia). While Harper’s recovery rate is high, we are told it will be a battle of a few years. 

We are currently staying in the hospital where we will remain for the next month with Harper while accruing medical bills, fees, medication expenses, and other such things. No family is ever fully prepared for this and we recognize that although it may be a lot to ask, we need a little help getting through the next few years of her treatment as we have taken some form of leave from our jobs.
